Summary:

The REACT project was designed to respond to the need to qualify intermediate-level technicians in the field of energy efficiency in buildings, while also contributing to the European energy and climate targets for 2030. Its main objective was to create a harmonised European qualification, with a strong digital component and close links to the real work context, capable of supporting workers undergoing reskilling, sector professionals and unemployed people wishing to enter this field. Its main results include the European curriculum for the Building Energy Efficiency Technician, structured into units of competence and aligned with EQF Level 4 and EQAVET, interactive digital materials for the theoretical component, a serious game for formative assessment, summative assessment instruments and a scheme for the recognition of prior learning, designed for experienced professionals without formal qualifications.
