Summary: SHIFT was created to increase the capacity of higher education institutions to integrate and operationalise ESG strategies — environmental, social and governance — in a concrete and measurable way. The project goes beyond awareness-raising: it seeks to turn ESG principles into practical tools for universities, staff, students and decision-makers, supporting alignment with the SDGs and the European Green Deal. Its main results include strategic guides, an impact matrix with actions and metrics, a micro-credential, an online awareness-raising game, a certification model for HEIs and a peer assessment and learning platform.
