Summary:

DEMO OR DIE sought to democratise access to online training in 3D printing, bringing this technology closer to audiences that do not traditionally belong to industry, such as healthcare professionals, vocational education students and higher education students. The project arose from needs that became highly visible in the pandemic context, when 3D printing gained practical relevance, and turned that opportunity into an open, inclusive pedagogical proposal geared towards the development of digital and technical competences. Its results included an online curriculum in 3D printing, training content on the design and operation of desktop 3D printers, resources for remote learning and a platform facilitating open access to these materials, helping learners to understand not only the potential of the technology, but also its limitations and challenges.
