Summary: VIOLET aims to modernise the International/European Welding Engineer qualification by integrating digital and immersive solutions into the training process. The project responds to challenges such as the need for greater flexibility, accessibility and alignment with current industry demands, proposing a modular approach supported by online content, virtual reality and augmented reality. The expected results include innovative digital materials, VR/AR tools, harmonised assessment methods and solutions that enable VET providers to offer training that is more efficient, more attractive and more closely aligned with the needs of the advanced welding sector.
