Summary: MAAT addressed the issue of the exclusion and invisibilisation of gender perspectives in urban policies, mobilising young people to reflect on and act towards building more inclusive cities. The project combined youth participation, policy dialogue and non-formal education, creating safe spaces to identify inequalities, debate solutions and bring young people and decision-makers closer together. Its results include 16 Youth Policy Labs in several countries, policy reports, a pedagogical architecture for non-formal education, a gamified programme with a strong social component, and a simulator/digital environment — InclusiVille — where participants can experience the impact of their decisions on the city.
