Summary: CISCOFY was designed to address the gaps that many higher education teachers still faced in the transition to online teaching, particularly in creating virtual learning environments that are more connective, inclusive, personalised and pedagogically robust. The project aimed to develop a “train the trainers” model with certification options, helping teachers to improve competences in synchronous and asynchronous teaching, the sharing and co-construction of OER, the appropriate choice of digital resources and the ability to reach audiences at risk of exclusion. Its central result was a certifiable training proposal aimed at transforming higher education teaching practices in digital environments, with transferability also to adult education contexts.
