Summary:

QUEST aimed to structure and legitimise, at European level, the professional profile of the Instructional Designer, a role that is becoming increasingly central to the quality of digital learning, yet still remains insufficiently harmonised across countries and contexts. The project sought to contribute to the harmonisation of competences, support the mobility of professionals in this field and strengthen Europe’s capacity to develop more engaging and effective e-learning experiences. Its results included progress in the development of the European professional profile of the Instructional Designer, the corresponding qualification, a process for the recognition of prior learning and other products associated with the professionalisation of this role.
